Counselling and Advisory Program (CAP) offers counselling services to all personnel at CSE including individual counselling and group dynamics improvement workshops. CAP’s professional counsellors help employees clarify their concerns and help define goals and objectives.
Description of the project, initiative or change
CAP has changed the case management software it uses to manage client files. This software supports CAP in terms of the handling of personal information. All personal information collected by CAP will be stored in this software and will only be accessible by the CAP staff.
This PIA describes how CSE will address the overall privacy risk associated with the use of the new case management software, specifically as it relates to systems administrators’ potential access to the database and employees’ clinical files. Additionally, this PIA describes how CSE will protect the personal information collected, used, disclosed, and retained for the exclusive purpose of supporting CAP.
