Accessibility feedback process at the Communications Security Establishment Canada

Your feedback will help the Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSE) identify, remove and prevent accessibility barriers in the workplace.

You are invited to provide feedback on the Communications Security Establishment Canada’s Accessibility Plan 2022–2025 and annual progress reports. Share your experience related to accessibility in our facilities, or provide any questions, suggestions or comments related to accessibility at CSE.

All accessibility feedback received will be acknowledged and addressed unless the feedback is submitted anonymously.

How to provide accessibility feedback

To submit accessibility feedback online to CSE, use the Accessibility feedback form.

You can also contact the Senior Advisor for Accessibility at CSE:

In your feedback, please include the following:

  • your contact information, for example:
    • your full name
    • mailing address
    • phone numbers
    • email address
  • a clear, concise and detailed description of what you are requesting
  • a description of what you would like to see be changed
  • if you are submitting a complaint, please also include the names and/or positions of all individuals involved in the matter and the dates and locations of the events
  • your signature and the date of signature (if written)
  • if you do not wish to provide your personal information, you can submit anonymous feedback (instructions below)

Please do not include any confidential information (for example, a social insurance number) in your feedback.

If you request a response to your feedback, we will respond in the same way that you submitted your feedback.

Your feedback will always remain anonymous in CSE’s public reports. You will not be identified with your feedback. The only time your feedback will be connected to you is when you request a personal response.

Submitting anonymous accessibility feedback

If you want to provide anonymous accessibility feedback:

  • do not state your name or provide any other identifying information (for example, your email address or phone number)
  • do not include your return address on the envelope if you send feedback by mail

Please note that CSE is unable to acknowledge or reply to anonymous feedback.

To request a response, please include the following information:

  • your contact information, for example
    • full name
    • mailing address
    • phone number(s)
    • email address
    • if you do not wish to provide your personal information, anonymous feedback can be provided via our accessibility feedback form

We are committed to providing a response. However, finding answers to more complex issues might take time. If we are unable to resolve the issues quickly, we will keep you informed of developments.

What we do with your accessibility feedback

We analyze feedback for trends and patterns. We don’t identify individuals in our public reports.

The only time your feedback will be connected to you is when you request a personal response to your feedback or question.

We will publish annual progress reports in the years between accessibility plans. In these progress reports, we will report on the accessibility feedback we received and how we are taking it into consideration, without identifying the source of the feedback.

Requesting an alternate version for the feedback process

You can request an alternate version of the accessibility feedback process and/or the CSE accessibility plan by contacting the Senior Advisor for Accessibility at CSE.

Please include your telephone number, email address and postal address so that we can send you the requested alternate format.

We will provide the requested format to you as soon as possible. Print, large print and electronic formats may take up to 15 days. Braille and audio formats may take up to 45 days.
