Canadian Top Secret network

Description of program or activity

The Canadian Top Secret network (CTSN) is a collaboration and information sharing network environment leveraged by multiple Departments/Agencies/Organizations (DAO) across Canada’s Security and Intelligence community.

Description of the project, initiative or change

The CTSN infrastructure was aging, and the technology did not provide the functionality to continue to provide first-class intelligence delivery and collaboration. The CTSN required modernization to keep up with the expectations and demands of DAOs to ensure they can efficiently exchange and develop intelligence. Additionally, in order to meet recent international requests for more secure handling of international intelligence material, new services were added. The project delivered upgraded networking, infrastructure, storage, email, web, PKI, voice, VTC, and file sharing services.
