Xerox WorkCentre 5135/5150 Multifunction Systems from Xerox Corporation, hereafter referred to as Xerox 5135/5150, was the subject of a Common Criteria evaluation performed by the Common Criteria Evaluation Facility at DOMUS IT Security Laboratory, Ottawa, Canada. The evaluation was completed in November 2010.

The evaluation of Xerox 5135/5150 determined that this Information Technology (IT) product can be trusted, at an assurance level of EAL 3 augmented with ALC_FLR.3, to conform to the requirements of the associated security target.

Xerox 5135/5150 is a family of multi-function devices that include copy, print, scan-to-email, network scan, and FAX functionality. The product incorporates security features such that temporary files created for these processes are encrypted and then overwritten as the processes complete. Users are required to provide a valid username and password or Common Access Card and PIN to access the product processes.

Xerox 5135/5150 incorporates CAVP-validated cryptography.

The scope of this evaluation is defined by the security target which identifies assumptions made during the evaluation, the intended environment for Xerox 5135/5150, the IT security requirements to be met and the level of confidence (evaluation assurance level) to which it is asserted that Xerox 5135/5150 satisfies its IT security requirements.
