NetScout Systems, Inc. nGenius® InfiniStream® (V4.7 MR2), nGenius® Performance Manager (V4.7 MR2), and nGenius® K2 (V4.7 MR2) (hereafter referred to as nGenius Service Assurance Solution V4.7 MR2), was the subject of a Common Criteria evaluation performed by the Common Criteria Evaluation Facility at DOMUS IT Security Laboratory, located in Ottawa, Canada. The evaluation was completed in April 2010.
The evaluation of nGenius Service Assurance Solution V4.7 MR2 determined that this Information Technology (IT) product can be trusted, to Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 3 augmented with ALC _ FLR .1 (Flaw Remediation), to conform to the requirements of the associated Security Target.
The nGenius Service Assurance Solution V4.7 MR2 is a unified service delivery management platform which provides comprehensive, real-time network, application and service performance intelligence to ensure optimized network operation. The nGenius Service Assurance Solution V4.7 MR2 provides network visibility with a common data set of service-oriented analysis and reporting functions that also promote collaboration with team-oriented workflows.
The scope of this evaluation is defined by the Security Target, which identifies assumptions made during the evaluation, the intended environment for nGenius Service Assurance Solution V4.7 MR2, the IT security requirements to be met, and the level of confidence (evaluation assurance level) to which it is asserted that nGenius Service Assurance Solution V4.7 MR2 satisfies its IT security requirements.
