Concepteers Teleconsole™ Version 2.0 (hereafter referred to as Teleconsole Version 2.0) was the subject of a Common Criteria evaluation performed by the Common Criteria Evaluation Facility at EWA-Canada, located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The evaluation was completed in July 2011.
The evaluation of Teleconsole Version 2.0 determined that this Information Technology (IT) product can be trusted, to an Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 3, to conform to the requirements of the associated security target.
Teleconsole Version 2.0 is a secure application-layer gateway that intermediates all requests between remote computers and internal resources. Teleconsole Version 2.0 incorporates FIPS 140-2 level 2 validated cryptography into its firmware.
The scope of this evaluation is defined by the security target, which identifies assumptions made during the evaluation, the intended environment for Teleconsole Version 2.0, the IT security requirements to be met, and the level of confidence (evaluation assurance level) to which it is asserted that the Teleconsole Version 2.0 satisfies its IT security requirements.
At the present time, this entry has been published without a certification report. The certification report will be posted to this location, pending availability of the report in both official languages. In the absence of a certification report, consumers are advised to carefully review the security target to gain an appropriate understanding of the evaluated configuration and the intended operating environment for the Teleconsole Version 2.0.
Consumers are advised to verify that their operating environment is consistent with the security target, and to give due consideration to the recommendations stated in the certification report.
